My ban appeal was accepted and I posted as not guilty, as for I didn't cheat. In the ban appeal, a reply said that due to the wait my ban has been reduced to 7 days instead of 30 days. I know that if you were cheating you would have been banned for 30 days but I don't know if this is true for false bans. I wanted to know if they thought I was hacking and if they did would that be bad for me?

if your appeal was reduced to 30d it means you were hacking and admitted to it. are you sure you put not guilty?

Because there was a huge back log of ban appeals that needed to be handled. We decided to clear them about by accepting pretty much all appeals regardless if you were guilty or not by accepting them and issuing a 7 day ban. This is because the escalated appeals required log checks which would have taken way to long to check this many appeals. A ban reduction to 7 days was deemed to fairest and fastest way to get all the appeals done and make sure that hackers were actually punished. Hope this helps.
