For cleaning PCs, I recommend CleanMyPC. Its a great software and really does the job. For turning off startups, the apps usually have a feature in settings for that when booting up. To make your PC faster for games, adjust your graphics for in-game is the best option, but try to invest in a better PC if you really want a better experience.

Well... storage doesn't impact performance but you can still use disk cleaner and uninstall any apps you don't need. You could also watch task manager to make sure there aren't any programs taking up too much power. Besides that you can clean your PC and try to reapply thermal paste. However in reality even doing all this probably wont impact it too much. You could use Linux though... @System64

task manager > startup > disable the apps you don't want on at startup.
for faster load times consider buying an ssd or m.2 nvme ssd.

fps is dependent on the gpu and what graphics intensive apps you have open (other games, movies, ect.). Honestly anything past like 200 fps you don't notice a difference.

invest in 16+gb of ram as that allows more applications to be run at a time as well as faster load times (ddr4 is the latest and greatest)

close any applications you're not using.

the amount of storage you have doesn't affect the performance of the pc beyond not being able to install more apps.

hope this helps.

1) Fresh start: you save all the files on your computer, uninstall Windows, reinstall it, install all the software you need.
2) Do you have an HDD or an SSD? If you have an HDD, get an SSD and install it in your computer for 10x performance.
3) Do you have a tower PC or a laptop? If you have a tower PC, and your CPU is properly cooled, you can try overclocking your CPU. (It may shorten its lifespan.)
4) Some linux distros are lighter than Windows. I've found that Zorin OS is very light and has a lot of features, including seamless integration with your phone and your Google Drive, and it's also made for the users switching from Windows to Linux.
5) If you have a tower PC, you might consider to upgrade some components. Send the list of parts and I can help you in selecting what to change.
