Hey so I've decided I want to make a builder application because I'm a good builder does it matter what version I build on? Ive been building on 1.15.2, and not 1.8 will that affect my application? Because I'm building builds right now on 1.15.2 and taking pictures of them for the application. Thank you.

It shouldn't affect your chances, but since we are a 1.7/1.8 server I'd recommend providing builds from those versions too, good luck in advance.
