Its very infuriating, surprisingly I have not been scammed this season at all.It sucks that they just get away with it and they aren’t actually playing the game. They are scamming people for money instead of making it on their own.
It's frustrating, but then again people should read the rules and be cautious before doing any trades. It sucks that they just get away with it and they aren’t actually playing the game. They are scamming people for money instead of making it on their own.
well saidI Have some tips to avoid getting scammed:
1) Have a staff middle man if necessary.
2) If it's an irl deal (Requiring the other person to buy an item on the store for you), make sure they go first.
3) Use /trade for other deals
4) Don't buy stuff for paypal or anything irl other than invaded, because the deals cannot be monitored. Also, the scammers cannot be punished.
Thanks, just start a conversation with me if you need help with anything.well said

just force space and comets to call out scammers in color chat lmao ez public chatDue to lack of reaction of the staff. (and currently scams being unbannable). Im making a player-funded punishment.
Public shame! A points-based(karma-like) player bot that will afk and register people's pontuation based on their interactions (if the community likes/dislikes them) and mark the worse ones as probably scammers.
I just need an altbut the code is almost finished (databases. the stuff that will store the pontuation)
To return the investment of kind people (that give me an alt or part of it). I will make the bot able to afk for ingame money in other people's islands!
(yes Im doing this because I got scammed like 1 time per day for 3 days, the last one made me go nuts)
I got scammed by a comet once so wdym XDjust force space and comets to call out scammers in color chat lmao ez public chat
Well saidJust something that happens so often to the point it became the part of the game. It's near impossible to handle.
before I get hates or utter ignorant replies, here are the points:
Some common counter to my statements are: "You could just hire more staff" or "Staff can just work harder" or "You're supposed to be the active enforcer".
You guys have to know that there is a lot that goes through while accepting staff members to the server. Not to mention the amount of hate that trainees receive from the community, making trainees feel ill at some point.
"Staff can work harder". IMO this is an ignorant complaint. How can you judge a staff member's activity when 2/3 of the things they handle are private and it's not something you can see? Please stop judging and being disrespectful and toxic towards staff if you do not know what exactly they do and how much they do for the server. Really disrespectful and it pisses me off.
"You're supposed to be the active rule enforcer". Yes. Staffs are supposed to be the rule enforcer. This does not give you permission to rant at them and force their time out of their personal times by spamming their dms to get your own tickets, appeals or whatever done when there are dozens of people waiting in line to get their things handled. I agree that staff members are required to be active, but I do not think that means that they need to sacrifice their own personal time every time because one person wants their things done fasters than others by not waiting in the line.
I agree that scamming is annoying, but there is something players can do at their end (being careful who they trust or using /trade for item trading or simply not doing IRL deals)
amazing, i am shocked that really got me in my feels, wel saidJust something that happens so often to the point it became the part of the game. It's near impossible to handle.

I totally agree with you. Staff is getting way too much disrespect these days. I remember whenever a staff member comes on skyblock you have at least 5 people being mad at them for staff not coming on skyblock enough. Or for example when you disabled /jump on your island I started a really big thing in chat where everyone got mad (I’m really sorry) I realise now how bad this. Staff are just normal people. I couldn’t possibly imagine what it must feel like getting that much hate if u just do anything wrong. I’d like to apologise to you for my past behaviour, als also I would like to ask others reading this, PLEASE be respectful to staff because they are doing so much for the server, they are doing something you would probably never even be able to accomplish. Next time you see a staff member, tell them: “thanks for doing this for the server.” Tell them that they’re great. Also I apologise for my bad punctuation :/Just something that happens so often to the point it became the part of the game. It's near impossible to handle.
