the admins and mods said that after everything with the blacklisted ip is dealt with, they'll begin to advertise. i think maybe they could pay Lunar to add their server to their featured servers page.

not everyone uses lunar man, i think if skeppy makes videos here again then the server will probably come back in a big way
As mentioned by Sham, not every player knows about Lunar, there are definitely a majority of players who do have some knowledge about it but back when Invaded was at it's peak during 2018-19, Skeppy was uploading a lot on the server at the time, and he basically advertised players himself, the thing is that the players that Skeppy had brought in where (mostly) people who did not know of Lunar or any PvP client and were just there to see Skeppy himself, without him uploading there are basically no new players at all, the only "new" players joining Kit is either bots, hackers or other players' alternative accounts.
To add on to this, I personally think that even if Skeppy uploads even 1 video on Invaded, I have a feeling that he will attract more players back to the server, maybe not as much as he used to attract but we will likely have older players joining back the server, along with new players.
Skeppy is probably running out of ideas for videos (I'm assuming by his upload schedule) he would have to come back to Invaded even though he would have no content to make since he has made dozen's of "trolling hackers" videos and people catch on so fast it's shocking and would likely go with the trolls to get clout.
tl;dr - Paying Lunar wouldn't help all that much since not many people know about Lunar anyways

he did end up coming last season and built some random diamond platform, not sure if it was just to add new buildings or just a video that got scraped.
I get what you mean, and I do think skeppy would bring more players to the server, and I think he will eventually come back to the server, but even though hes running out of ideas, mostly doing build battles, he could just keep repeating the same ideas for the videos even if they are repetitive, as hes averaging millions of views on his newest videos, or he could move to other types of content that is becoming popular. Who knows though, he may come back sooner that we expect. Though I do understand what you mean by Lunar not being used or known by many players.
