Yeah, after children get kidnapped or molested the first time, they will know not to trust random strangers!

Yes, because children know instinctively to not be silly and accept candy from strangers.
No, they have to LEARN. And learning by mistakes works for mild things, but a new player who loses all their stuff- and, because they're inexperienced, don't know to keep backup stuff- could even be discouraged from playing on invaded. Something similar happened to me.
By no means am I saying ALL new players are inexperienced and don't know not to trust random tp requests. Some will have played on other servers before. But not all of them. And those are the ones that get scammed.

this is EXACTLY what I mean. New players aren't STUPID, they just don't know about these things.

Isn't scamming allowed on skyblock….? This seems more like a personal issue rather than a legitimate breaking-of-the-rules issue.
It is true that TP killing may be against the rules, but it's not like you can't avoid them...you know...by just not accepting random TP's...?

A better suggestion is to have a tutorial book for those that are new to the server to see what's allowed or not...

You yourself can try making a group about it, but usage of common sense should be enough to not get trolled like such.

And, for the last time, COMMON SENSE DOESN"T TEACH YOU ANYTHING- it can only build off of what you know. A child doesn't know about the risks of talking to strangers, they have to be TAUGHT.

It is. People are always gonna be cruel in life and this is a game. Once you are tp trapped once you learn from it. If you fall for it more than once you are just dumb.
 
People already spam the chat with EVITES IS A TP TRAPPER and whoever else does it. I’d just reccomend making a tutorial for new players so that they know better, that’s it.

What I propose is that if the staff continue to ignore the problem of TP killing/trapping (and scamming/trolling in general) then we create a team to fight these people. (This team could also be used just to give new players general information on how to play.)
Skyblock is plagued with a problem, but we have a chance to fix it. So let's take that chance.

Edit: Being stupid and not knowing about something are not the same thing. Stop saying that.
I'm not saying TP killers and scammers are against the rules, I'm just saying that they detract from the quality of the server. We have to do something- if not what I suggested, something else, like something that was suggested in the replies- a tutorial book of sorts.
