Is 2 factor auth possible for a mc account?

I realize the server has the plugin but I assume it's probably either completly disabled or for higher ranks like Mgr and the owner, but is it possible to enable 2FA on the account itself when you login into mojang?

Every staff member is required to use 2fa. The players don’t have access to it.
