Is Discord community toxic????

Hello there i want to ask, do u think that discord community is toxic???
I mean idk what was your experience but chat always has kids spamming and voice...pff my ears hurt when I join.
Idk what is the point discord server if they don't have staff online there, I mean that discord is like some sort of anarchy but ok.
As I played longer on server I managed to join many alternative invadedlands discord servers.
When I said that I have my last question. Why InvadedLands has a discord server?????

The discord community is too toxic for me. Especially vc. I joined once. Horrible idea. What they were talking about/ noises they were making triggered my PTSD and like everyone there is 12 and no one stops them. The text channels arent much better. I think it would be easier on the staff for them not to have it tbh since its really bad place and not really a "safe" place like the forums.

Agreed, that's why I joined forums on last InvadedLands website and rejoined on this few days ago, mainly cuz community here is much better.

Theres still a bit toxic situations here but it feels much more calm and actually like a decent community here. I don't really feel safe in the discord server.

i wouldn't say the discord is that toxic. obviously there's toxicity, but that's there on the forums as well as the server anyway. the discord server is mainly just skeppy fans spamming constantly asking when the next event will be

I mean chat is full of fanboys and spammers. But voice is worse, full of kids screaming in their mics, and u have no idea what they are talking about.

One time there was full on moaning and like sexual discussions and like discussion of r*pe and pedophilia

Toxicity on a discord server is really unavoidable and I can speak for most staff when I say we try as best as possible to reduce that but obviously we're not always available and/or are dealing with other things. However, If you're aware someone is breaking any rules please feel free to dm me or another staff member on discord regarding the offender and we'll take care of it. Our full apologies in advance, I completely understand how frustrating it can be for a player not being able to interact with the community without obtrusion and we hope to improve all around.
