No because you can buy this from the shop and put rods to the quantity of 2, and it's less than 2k.

My friend sells them for 200-300. Nowhere near worth 2,000.

Lets give you a tutorial real quick. If someone on the ah sells two fishing rods (even if they're not stacked) they'll sell like they're stacked. When you buy them they are stacked. Although, this may seem cool, its not. It has the same value as one fishing rod as if you dont split it apart its basically just one fishing rod. (even if the other one breaks)
