Items Dissapearing?

So I was playing survival the other day, and put an immo sword with some other added enchantments into my vault. Around 20 mins later I'm about to tp to a grinder, so I open my vault to grab my sword. The sword is gone, I checked my chests, my inventory, my other vault, it is just gone. Has this been happening to other people, and does anyone know if it can be prevented

it disappeared from ur vault? are u sure u left it there

Yep, I know for a fact I put it in my vault, everything else was accounted for, my armor, tools, disks, stone monster eggs, but the sword was gone. Also, it wasn't anywhere else and I'm not dumb enough to just drop my sword and forget about it.

I don't think anyone on the forums can help you with that. The best thing you can do is contact a staff member

if u were lagging or the server was lagging u couldve accidentally dropped it on the floor thats what happened to me and i lost a stack of gaps (kitpvp)
