They don't update anything. You can go into KitPVP on 1.18, even though it says that you can't. This gets you banned, which I think sucks because they used to have it set to not let you join KitPVP unless you're in 1.8 or below. They need to get their shit together.

Yeah. It said I was cheating, and permanently banned me. I'm assuming it's the anti-cheat, since nobody with the right mind would ban someone for cheating if they're not cheating.

You aren’t wrong I agree it is fairly simple to add the pinger plug-in and use it as a placeholder in the server selector menu that way players can view the server status. I also believe the versions should be configured to the latest compatible ones
