Ngl guys I love the idea of the player council but I don't think it's gonna work. If having an admin run the player council didn't work then having some players running it isn't gonna be much different. It was shut down for a reason

the reason was due to t not rlly being effective. if it’s official, it would actually work lol. but there is swrveral things that need to happen in order for it to become official lol

You talk a lot about the success of the council relying on it being official. I know that this is your goal, but unless you are able to lay out a detailed and feasible outline for you how you plan to do this, I don’t think enough people will actually get behind this. For now, I agree with @Nicbo in that in its current state, the new council will accomplish very little.

the outline is very simple - get a ton of members, which leads to staff joining, and hopefully eventually leads to management making it official

This seems a lot easier said than done for two reasons. First off, like I mentioned before, it’s going to be a lot more difficult to assemble a large enough group of players given the shortcomings of the previous council and this council presenting no real initial improvements over the previous. Second, even if staff do get behind the reformed council, who’s to say that’s the bridge from the council to management? Clearly having staff behind the project in the past proved to be unsuccessful.

Best of luck with this—I hope that your plan works out, but I think there’s a lot more work to be done.
