King Of The Hill (KOTH) Needs to go!

First of all, I would like to state that this formal complaint/issue is being addressed because of particular players, my feelings, other players' feelings, the likeliness of "KOTH", and sugarcane2167.

I would like to start off by saying that this is actually a petition to get rid of the event "King of The Hill" (KOTH). I would appreciate any comments with positive or negative energy coming towards this post.

Here are my concerns towards the event (KOTH)

1. It is one of the most simple, stupidest, most dumb events ever. It requires 0 brain skill to be on top of the target and stand there and not get hit off.

2. It is full of toxic people. A simple scenario of a toxic player during KOTH is WaffleEater193. I chose WaffleEater193 as an example because it is perfect. I was actually enjoying a game of KOTH trying to win and get an event key so I can get some cool prizes. Next thing I know, I die and I am going up the stairs to the target and I start getting hit from behind (ayo?). Anyways I do a quick F5 and I see it is a person by the name of WaffleEater193 hitting me as im going up which is extremely disrespectful because you should at least let them get to the top before you hit them. So honestly as the sane person I am, I just keep going up and brush it off. WaffleEater193 then continues to follow me up and proceed to kill me so I thought nothing of it. I die and I start heading up the stairs again and I stop as I look into the distance and WaffleEater193 is dead stopped staring me in my eyes like I just murdered his cat. I try to proceed past him to go and play the KOTH event but WaffleEater193 just continues to hit me off the stairs and won't let me up. Honestly at this point I am flabbergasted and I am just confused on what this guys problem is. I say in chat "WaffleEater193 do I know you?". He says, "No". I said, "Then why are you targetting me". He didn't say anything and proceeded to target me the rest of the event, which made me lose. Moral of the story KOTH sucks,

3. sugarcane2167 is one of the few staff that host KOTH. Usually I am on invaded from 3pm pst to like 2am pst because I have no life and on my time sugarcane2167 comes on around 11pm. I am enjoying my day and enjoying all the events that are being hosted but then sugarcane2167 comes on. Next thing you know KOTH is being hosted and thats just totally bringing the mood down. I play it out and continue with life and wait for the next event. The next event comes up and its KOTH. I'm starting to lose my patience so I just play it out and suffer. Finally a different event comes (Spleef). I'm excited and ready to win this, but the next thing I know the chat says "This event has been force ended". AT THIS POINT I AM LOSING IT. NEXT THING I KNOW KOTH IS BEING HOSTED BY sugarcane2167. I am very concerned for sugarcane2167's well being. I say in chat, "KOTH sucks, why is it being hosted". sugarcane2167 says, "I LOVE KOTH". So this just really has me shocked that any sane person likes KOTH but now that I think about it maybe sugarcane2167 is insane? Anyways moral of this story is that sugarcane2167 loves to host KOTH and ruin my nights.

4. I think most of the InvadedLands community can agree with me and say that KOTH is the most boring and gutwrenching event to play. When someone hosts KOTH everyone in chat goes, "NOOOOOO", "KOTH SUCKS", "WHO EVEN LIKES THIS". Comments like these are what leads me to make this post and want to make a stand for everyone who hates KOTH.

5. I think that the players or staff (COUGH COUGH sugarcane2167 ) that host KOTH are incapable of feeling love or guilt for anything at all so thats why they host KOTH. I am sure that some players cry when they are playing KOTH because it is not fun and it just makes everyone feel unenergized and not want to play anymore.

6. This might be a very biased opinion but I was thinking that we should get double "Race of Death" events instead of a KOTH event. There are so many better events than KOTH, literally any other event can beat KOTH even 1v1 sumo which SUCKS.

7. KOTH is a waste of a slot for events. There are so many other good event ideas that we could cooperate with from the InvadedLands community instead of KOTH. Hosting KOTH or having the permissions to host KOTH is such a waste of an event in general.

8. KOTH consists of a bunch of losers/nerds that sit on their PC all day and want to ruin someones day just by targetting them, teaming, or any other genre of annoying someone else. KOTH NEEDS TO GO.

Please everyone share your thoughts down below and let me know what you think on my comments and reasons for KOTH to be removed PERMANENTLY from the events.

I hope everyone knows that KOTH singlehandedly takes all the credit for being the worst event in the history of events and I can speak for the entire InvadedLands community when I say
GET
RID
OF
IT.

Invalid opinion. Let me start off by saying I do appreciate your honesty with this post, however, several of the points are invalid and not backed with proper reason or thought.

Lets start with your first reason. I feel this was just motivated by your personal feels for King of the Hill instead of actually looking at this from a player's perspective. For example, you need to stay inside of the red square on the map. You get to this point via using the 4 sets of the stairs placed on the map. In this case you need to fight off other players in the event and have the most time spent in the square. This does in fact require skill, thought and strategy. While simple, it can be enjoyable for some players, take noobslayer10, they enjoy the event when it is hosted.

For your second reason, it seems like you are trying to frame King of the Kill in a good light here simply to make it seem worse than it is. As I have personally spectated 90% of these KOTH events hosted by me I have noticed you typically leave them, or give up half way through. You multiple times have targeted this player in chat causing them to target you in the event.

Moving onto your third reason, this is contradicting your second point so I take issue with it, as expected. You say in your previous point that you do sometimes enjoy King of the Hill until toxicity if involved, but then go-on to say that it ruins your day when an event such as King of the Hill is hosted? This leaves me a little perplexed.

For your fourth reason, I don't see any proof attached to this discussion about this, so if you do have that, as I advised you to include when you mentioned posting this in chat, I would love to see it.

I have personal issues with your fifth reason, bold of you to assume my feelings just going off an event in a game. That's honestly crazy.

Looking at your sixth reason, this is extremely personal to you. Have you stopped to think about how some players don't enjoy Race of Death and dislike it as much as you allegedly dislike King of the Hill? Take J1my for example, horrible at parkour, keeps participating in hopes of winning, fails every time. They hate both events but didn't make a ~900 word essay about how KOTH is bad with horrible reasoning and no structure.

Your seventh reason seems like filler to me. Maybe I'm wrong.

Your eight reason is again very personal and hurtful to players who actually enjoy the event like noobslayer10 and WaffleEater193. While I don't enjoy playing King of the Hill, I see the appeal and players enjoy it.

In my honest opinion, this is a horrible structured, not well thought out response to an event that some players enjoy.

This only supports my comments made above. Unprofessional, immature, childish, the list goes on.

Your first comment of "L" literally means nothing in this case as its simply not an argument at this point.

Your second comment "bozo", is just unprofessional. That's crazy.

Your third comment "ratio", what are you ratioing?

I believe that every comment you make is invalid.

You host KOTH

You like KOTH

You support KOTH

Your opinion does not have any validation here.

Here is a perfect example of KOTH being hated by the community.

Can you make a diss on Sugarcane2167 because you're a professional sound cloud rapper?

You smell
No one loves you.

you have no friends, no family, no loved ones of any kind. This explains why you have to go onto invaded lands forums to be mean to innocent players and staff alike.

You are nothing but a disgusting creature who preys on the weak.

I wish you nothing but the worst in life you freak.

I agree with sugarcane, if u dont like an event just dont join it?
I dont get the idea of removing an event just cause some dont like it, I dont like race of death cause I am tribble at parkour too but I still accept its existing. I never win KOTH but it has and always will be a unique event.
