I can't help but notice everyone who doesn't spend money on a rank to get better kits seems to get targeted and slaughtered. I also feel like there should be more than 1 basic kit for players with no rank. The game just isn't fun if the only thing that matters is money.

grind for better armor and weapons. used to complain about it too but there's really nothing you can do.
it's not p2w, because as a default you can still get op stuff + do irls for ranks and stuff so yeah

u probably don't HAVE to "pay 2 win" but having a rank defiantly puts you at an extreme advantage, whether that is by buying it, getting for free, irl dealing, or winning from a skeppy event. currently stocked with about 10 vaults of kit gear and i have been coming on every week to just give stuff away so i mean... i know even as a VIP/MVP i struggled daily to maintain the gear supply.
if you actually play the game seriously and are somewhat decent you'll do well on invaded. converging is nuts so. never said its not p2w for some people aka YuckyxD / impeccable is very p2w for invaded at least.
yeah and that slight advantage is gear, skill trumps anything gear could give you. You could have an s5 and like p4 and someone could be a LEGEND at pvp making them untouchable. Who wins?
you do realize that he went from NO RANK TO OVERLORD, which means he had enough skill just to kill anyone even without a rank, and getting irl deals aren't cheap gear wise. soooo

I see what you mean, but if you look deeper into it, buying a rank just helps you get geared up faster, its almost a headstart. You can still get the items without a rank, just more grinding is required as said above.
Well i guess you will have to enter the cycle and grind for better stuff. It is harder but that's how money works everywhere. And you have a daily kit and archer. So you can use them wisely and find a way to kill better players.
