To be honest, with worse ping I have more problems, but sure, you can try. I think there are some ways to bottleneck your internet or something too. Good luck I guess. (I'm pretty sure that's ping spoofing tho, and it's not allowed, but idk if it is.)

i have 9 cps and i destroy pvp gods with 40 cps with my 150+ ping on hypixel

prob cuz ur fucking ass at pvp lmfao
 
potpvp is impossible with high ping, delayed pots etc make it hard. U also dont get first hit, but most people play on 1.8 so thats sacrificing first hit either way. Besides that, high ping is only extra reach if the person is taking backwards kb, thats why most of the "good" players dont complaing, its just bots like us (especially me) that always have the word ping in our mouths. No disrespect meant, but my point stands.
