9 days ago, the KitPvP server officially completed it's typical 6 month cycle without a reset.
Today, this thread was written simply to address some of the additions and changes, as well as tackle some questions for those of you who are not familiarized with the concept of "full server resets" already.
When will the server be reset?
We plan on resetting the server on Friday, June 19th 2020 @ 2 PM EST, however the server will be whitelisted until then, starting Thursday, June 18th 2020 @ 4 PM EST. The reason we whitelist for such a long period of time before fully re-opening the server is because we need time to properly move over new content & changes, as well as to verify everything is fully functioning and in working order before launching the server.
All of the above will be reset on the date specified, we do these biannual resets to take items, statistics and such out of the cycle, essentially refreshing the server and putting everyone on a level playing ground for a while and giving us a chance to put in new content.

There's a lot that has been changed but my intentions are not to bore you with a massive changelog, so I'll only go over a few of the large additions / changes, and future plans in the following sections.
Maps
Majority if not all KitPVP related builds, will be replaced. The reason why I chose to include this here is due to the drastic change in style of the main map, as pictured below.
We tried keeping the main areas flat so it's perfect for PvP, whilst still having discrete locations, such as the underground caverns etc.
Majority of the mountains are behind a barrier, you will not be able to climb them, however there are trails on the edges of the border that travel all around the map.
This map was our attempt to switch things up, listen to both sides, and change accordingly to make as many people content as possible, however I am aware not everyone will like this design, criticism is welcome.
Duels
We recognize that this is a feature that's been requested for a long time, so we'll deliver.
The last time InvadedLands had duels on KitPvP was in 2015-2016, and it was an essential part of the gameplay. Right now, duels are more popular than ever and it's only appropriate to incorporate this into the server.
On release we will most likely have the following server kits available for duels;
PvP
Daily
VIP
MVP
Pro
Lord
God
Overlord
As well as some other non-server style kits such as;
NoDebuff
Archer
GApple
All duels can either be normal, free duels, or you can duel with a money wager.
Like a typical wager, winner of the duel wins the wagered amount from both sides, large wager duels will be broadcasted to the server as they end.
Future Plans
We plan on giving KitPvP content updates throughout it's cycle before another full reset, there are several things that will be worked on depending on community feedback; examples of these updates could be as small as team duels, self explanatory, dueling as a team against other teams for wagers or changes as drastic as knockback & kits, all dependent on community requests. Any aspect of gameplay could be changed.

Refreshing the experience is our goal, for those that are newer & those that have been here for a while.
