This reset has left a sour taste in my mouth. I've been playing on this server consistently going on for 6 years now. With the recent decisions to double down on crate keys (and actual P2W exclusive items- "Shulker" Tools and Armor, Sell Wands, Custom Ranks, etc), I can't bring myself to play another season.
The season started July 19th and ended December 3rd, a mere 138 days or about 4 and a half months. This is THE shortest season of survival- and with it conveniently ending right after the sale of, most notably, Black Friday crate keys- it leaves such a bad impression. Several years ago, survival seasons would only last 6 months, however over the last few seasons, that time has stretched to over 9 months. I know for a fact many players (including myself) were expecting that time to complete what we wanted to- and that was cut in half. Adding on to the fact that players had spent real world money for the aforementioned P2W items, it is unfair to them that they didn't get the full usage from those items they were expecting.
Overall I think this is the worst decision Staff has made to cut a promising season for so many players so short, and hence why I have lost trust with Staff. Suppose we have a situation where the economy is busted again by April, is the decision going to be made to reset again? Regardless of what happens, I will not be joining this upcoming season for the foreseeable future. If your equally upset, don't give them your time or your money.
