On Invaded, there is a really underrated server (KitPvP Modern) And it is really fun but there is many ongoing issues about it and I feel like nobody has talked about them, so I will formally adress these issues and hope that someone can see/fix this!
What is KitPvP Modern?
KitPvP Modern is the most inactive server because of this very important reason.
As of now, the state of KitPvP Modern is very bad as of now because of many specific reasons:
1 - Many unfixed bugs
2 - Lack of crates (monthly crate)
3 - Very unbalanced (must rely on crates to get good gear, no f2p way to get good other than relying on events)
Because of these three critical statements, almost every player from the top 50 of the Money Leaderboard has quit. If the bugs were fixed and the game was improved, the game could see VERY good potential.
Statement 1 - What bugs is there to fix?
Here are all the bugs I know that need to be fixed:
1. The Auction House is broken, with people not being able to set items on there, as it is currently empty.
2. In many events there are bugged maps where there is no way to play the event.
- One map in the Spleef event is bugged because you cannot break blocks when the round begins. This map is the map with lava under the snow.
- In 2v2 brackets, players are occasionally tp'd out of the map and they have no choice but to accept defeat.
3. You cannot trade XP in the trade GUI.
4. Loot drops seem to happen way less often, might just be me but I never see them occur.
5. There is a way to escape the map in-game and it can be used unfairly in Combat. (I can show where it is.)
6. Mystery crates are broken, with there being no way to obtain them.
7. When voting, you do not gain progress on the Glory Achievement where you need to open a vote crate.
These seven bugs have resulted in a critical decrease in the player activity and is greatly recommended to be fixed.
Statement 2 - Why is spending money on crates not worth it?
On KitPvP Modern, there are five crates; The money crate, the Vote crate, the Event crate, the Invaded crate, and the Mystery crate. (two being unobtainable). This means we only have three crates. SOME people (including me) like to spend money. Adding monthly crates is a great way to solve this problem! This is useful because it does not take that long to make and people can obtain a variety of new items! (Shield, Totems, Riptide 3 Trident, Money keys). Adding monthly keys also drives people to the game.
Statement 3 - The game is very unbalanced
On KitPvP Modern, there are many key aspects where it is hard to progress or get money. Here are some key examples on what should be changed.
1. Money - You should be able to earn more money or deflate the prices because you only get around 30 dollars per kill, and you need $1000 to afford a simple diamond armor set, and around 15,000 to enchant it all. (That's 500 kills per enchanted set!) What I recommend is that you change it to around 200 dollars per kill.
2. Progression - There should be eternal crates added to KitPvP Modern because when you play for a while, you may have no gear, so when opening this you can possibly get enchanted diamond armor from them.
BONUS TOPIC - Cosmetics
Cosmetics is a great aspect of KitPvP Modern and it is a great way to look cool. But, there are very little cosmetic options to choose because none more was added. I greatly encourage and recommend that you add more cosmetics, it makes the game really fun!
Conclusion
This is all I have to say about the server, I really hope you guys read all of this and take this suggestion seriously because there is great potential in this game, but no work is being put into it.
