Make Scamming Bannable

short answer: no
long answer: no way
Scamming should not be bannable because there is no significant proof that someone scammed you or not unless you recorded it, scamming happens daily on all 3 of their servers and you really think the staff team could handle every single report.
Okay the irl deals being bannable, I don't know where you got that from because there is already a punishment for chargebacks on other players along with irl always goes first and if the in game player doesn't pay then they get banned and if you ask me, invaded gets a lot of money through irl deals from other players so they have no reason to change that.
I mean, I've staffed on a server for like a year which varies from 1k-2.5k players and it's not really hard at all to enforce it. I know there's not a huge amount of staff members on here but it's not as big of a deal as you're making it sound to be, I know it won't happen anyway but still.
Most scams are in game so that’s not hard to track at all.
The amount of them would be hard to track.

1. Scamming
I don’t think that scamming is a good idea or a very nice thing to do, however making it a bannable offense is a bad idea. What classifies as scamming? misleading someone into loosing money or items? in that case is telling people “Come to pvp for 100k!!!!!” scamming if you don’t give them money? Is telling someone an incorrect price for something scamming? Is dueling on alts scamming because the player doesn’t know who they are facing?
Overall there is way too much gray area with this, the community already outs scammers essentially immediately. If the child can’t handle loosing numbers in a block game I think there is a bigger problem.
2. Irl trading
Invaded is most likely never going to make this un-allowed. They have very strict rules about no charging back purchases. If you do, you get banned from buycraft and the innocent player can appeal and get unbanned either way.
If you get scammed in an irl deal 99% of the time it is your own fault. Ask any semi-knowledgeable player and they will tell you that the person buying IRL always goes first in these deals. If the irl buys the item and the person offering ingame items/money doesn’t pay, then the IRL person can get them blacklisted.
TLDR
Scamming has too much gray area. IRL trading has strict rules and a very set out system making it almost impossible to scam without getting punished.

Hey, due to the big number of people that are interested in this topic, I'm going to add a few comments/thoughts.
Scamming is forbidden (bannable) if you agreed on doing a deal with someone (for InvadedLands store items), they bought you the stuff and you didn't give the said in-game items. Basically, as of now, it's only forbidden if you suffered a real-life financial loss.
I strongly encourage everyone that does IRL Deals to record/take screenshots with the actual deal as you could get scammed and make a Player Report on the forums.
About the issue with chargebacks. Chargeback appeals don't take that long, and if you chargeback someone's rank (from an IRL Deal) it can result in you getting blacklisted, so therefore I don't advise you to do this as it's against the rules.
Now we move on to the "Make in-game scamming bannable" part. Due to a lot of feedback from the forums/in-game, I'm going to come up with a concept soon and forward it to higher-ups. I'm not confident that there will be any changes, but I still decided to suggest it due to popular demand. - I still didn't make anything related to this thing, therefore I cannot offer you more information about this.
IRL Trading will not be bannable as I think that this opportunity encourages some people to actually play the server by gaining in-game currency to trade for InvadedLands store items, also people are already used to it being allowed & advertising deals for other items (not InvadedLands related) is forbidden.

Normally, the person that pays with the IRL Money (buys the rank) goes first, and after the purchase goes through and the second player receives the store item in-game, they are going to pay/give the promised items. We cannot assist you if you went first and first paid with the in-game items and got scammed or if you paid half of the money and didn't receive the rank. ALWAYS the person that buys the store items goes first.
