Obviously, hacking is a different story and can harm peoples gameplay, though this is another story just because I called a teenager or grown adult a shitter how is that harmful? This isn't a elementry grade server, so I thought, anyways back to the point he isn't going to jump off a roof because I called him a shitter. According to what LukeLovesCandy says in his earlier response to my rant "Saying "I didnt know it was punishable" really does not matter. You are comparing a ridicoulous situation to my situation and it really does not relate, as what I did wasn't harming any gaming experience compared to a hacker. Now let me replace your situation with my situation. If a normal person comes on the server and truly states a common phrase you are "ez", "bad,"shit", and you ban them (using the scenario you made), then yes you should definetly unban them. The situation you compared to mine was completly ridiculous, is compared to a man intentionally shooting up a city, compared to a innocent regular guy going to a park he and everyone else goes to for a month, and then out of the blue gets arrested one day when everyone else is still there without getting warned from the previous times he has been there.
 
This is absolutely ridiciolous, and don't give me the "this is in the handbook" response, as you a human being can tell it isn't my fault, as I was not warned and never told at all on the server it was mutable. Now, out of the blue gets muted for it. You aren't a robot you as a human can differentiate what is wrong or is right morally, if you are only going to look at the book and read off it, I can tell you don't know what you are doing.
 
Also if you are saying disrespectful is not allowed, than why are you only have words like shit filtered on your staff private messages, I see people in chat saying you are bad, you keep running, and you are a randy, isn't that disrespectful how come that isn't a mute? I can tell you why because you mute people based on filtered out words that is given to you, and you can't look for yourself as a human to figure if is disrespectful for not, and tht is why I can tell you won't be a sucessful staff.
 
@SetPvP just accept the punishment. me and Nicki are tight, yet someone reported me for simple spam and i got a 4th offense mute. they’re not picking and choosing who they wanna mute. i hope you do realize S0V isn’t new to this at all and WAS admin here previously with plenty of experience. you made a mistake, you pay the price. that’s it. i PM’d Nicki after my mute and said “fair enough, still best mod.” just be grateful it wasn’t longer or worse and don’t let it happen again. simple. no need to waste a staffs time on this and creating multiple pointless threads.
 
Do you know thats why before 2019 theres only 1~2 staffs accepted per year?
Luke have his way to check staff appeals, every staff does too
Just like if you are toxic and got muted thats not accepted, Luke wanted the server don't need a staff with very toxic skills
If you break the rules they wont accept too because you never think about it and you did it.
Just like if they accepted you, and a day server got exploited and everyone got banned because you betrayed and grief the server,
why would them didnt accepted your appeals?

Did you even read my point? Is not my fault that they just today started muting people for saying "shit" without warning me.
 
This is a pretty heated thread ?. Tbh I can understand why @SetPvP is upset. Such a small act, but still punished for it. I can also understand why Luke muted. To be fair I indeed think he should've given you a warning before muting, since it wasn't a harmful action, but at the same time he is giving a small punishment to this small offense. A 3 hour mute can be tolerated, and beats the rules into the players pretty well. I recommend not making a big deal out of it, since it only affected you for a small amount of time. Just keep in mind that the staff are doing their best to keep the server in good condition for all types of players.
 
Yeah, a lot of people do it. They probably thought you do it a lot, which is really annoying in your case.
 
Hahhahahahhahahahaaaa, Yea, they definetly choose sides on who to mute and who not to based on who is friends with them, earlier voltwave waas messaging me things like "you're bad", "shut the **** up", and "randy". He didin't like the prices I sold my strength for when he messaged me asking to sell. So, the words he has said to me is way more disrespectful than "shit", I tell S0V about this and he said he didin't see it, fair point so I send him a screenshot of it, he looks at it for 5 seconds then gets off the server to avoid muting him. What the actual ****? I see you are picking sides on who to mute based on your friends, but why are you telling me some crap about your handbook and regulations when you deny to mute someone being disrespectful, while you muted for the least amount of disrespect? I can tell he isn't muted as it never said S0V hs muted voltwave, and he is still typing as Im typing this. does this even matter anymore? you’re wasting your time here at this point. it was a three hour mute. boohoo, go live your life and go play the block game with pixel swords... S0V is a trainee and if they see anything wrong with this (and trust me mods and admins read forums) then they will respectfully demote S0V from trainee as it is a “trial basis” role.

What? did you even read What I had to say? Im saying why would he mute me and not others, while his excuse from before was not being able to see it. So, I decided to show him it and he still denies to mute him?
 
Messages such as 'you are bad' or 'EZ' does not hold much meaning these days, therefore we rarely mute players for using those words. Words such as 'shit' or '****' can get you muted depends on the way you use them. Calling someone a 'shitter' and messaging a player saying 'ur dog shit' (you're*) qualifies for a mute for toxicity and disrespect. The excuse of "I didn't know the server rules" is invalid; if you join the server, it means that you've agreed to the rule. The staff in the question of "abusing" was indeed performing within our guidelines of moderation, and I see no problem with her performance. The evidence you've provided to the trainee was insufficient since the screenshot was cropped.

Also, to clarify, S0V is female. You've been calling her 'him.' for the past decades.
