Map Bug

Today, I finished a mapart. However, when I made a new map for the art to show up, nothing happened. All it did was show the same map of the last map I made of that area. If there is any way for me to get around this or any way to fix this, please let me know! :'(

stack a layer of block of slabs on top of the mapart. after that break the slabs and you will see the mapart change.

im not 100% sure on this but apparently if u build it chunk by chunk it might load in better (i am not completely sure tho)
