To anyone who was denied: Don't worry, this isn't the end of the line for you! Try to think about why your application was denied and use that information to improve yourself for next season

I can't wait to meet all the new trainees this season (and hopefully become one myself)!

It all depends on how you feel. If you aren't comfortable applying yet, I'd wait until you are. There's no rush =)

I applied as well. I don't feel like I would do good in the verbal interview though, I would probably get too nervous to even speak

I've said it before, but I'll say it again for others. If you were denied and are serious about becoming a moderator, and you are unsure about why you were denied, you should reach out to the person who handled your application and ask them why you were denied. It will show that you care and it will give you something to think about for next time.
