A few weeks or maybe even a month ago, System64 got 13000 ping, I then jokingly said "ARE YOU CHALLENGING ME MORTAL?" And then he said yes, I then jokingly said again "I'll dethrone you by dawn." And I thought, what if I faked a picture and said that I got more ping? That would be absolutely hilarious. So there's this command in minecraft called tellraw, and it sends out a chat message whatever you want it to say, a little while later, I used that command and the chat said: "RyanCantPvP has a ping of 15274 ms." I could've done a scoreboard to make it even more believable, but that's too hard, so I just cropped the screenshot, after making sure there aren't any flaws, I then posted it on the forums. And he believed it, in a few conversations, I pretended I was working really hard to get high ping, when in reality I just faked a screenshot.

You have disappointed me
I expected some breakage of friendship when I saw that alert

Also, at some point my ping was all over the place, it could reach 1000, idk why but that happened at some point in the storyline.

There was one thing that I didn't lie about tho, and that was getting blacklisted from a random server, that legit happened and was around at the time of when I had really unstable internet.

I recently discovered that my router is something like a lot of years old and it basically had insane instability, and by exploiting particular points in the instability curve I could join the server while the router was still barely able to handle request, and query for the ping just before it touched the death line, at which point it would just kick me. Exploiting this is however quite hard and may require lots of tries, since sometimes the instability slope may not reach too low or I may try and join the server when the router cannot handle almost any requests any more. We also have 4 devices connected, and running internet intensive tasks in the background would cause even more problems to the router, but in these cases there is a high risk of causing even more extreme instabilities, resulting in the near complete inability to even attempt to connect to the router. Furthermore, my router hangs almost completely when it needs to upload things such as a video to youtube, but that is far too extreme to try and use to get high pings (it'll just timeout me from any server). My internet provider recently sent over a new free router after a few angry calls for the quality of the service; the new router can achieve an average of around 10x the download speed, and is also much more stable. (Previous router always failed during the morning, for 30-45 minutes).
TL;DR had an awful router with many issues I could exploit to get high pings.
