Hello everyone, I applied for staff recently and unfortunately, I got denied ;-;. Looking back to the application I can see some flaws which makes it look rushed, and areas where more detail and info should have been included.

Another person's (or people's) perspective and feedback on my application would be greatly appreciated for the next season.
I did ask hamoka (Mod who reviewed my application) for anymore information that she would be willing to give me in regards to the denial of my application. Still waiting for a reply. EDIT: Got a reply :p

Hope to hear back from some of you, thank you.

Hey!

Sorry to hear you got denied. Like many people above me have said, it's probably because you didn't fit a requirement to become a staff member. This could be age, activity, microphone, etc. I will say the same thing as everyone else here, re-read the requirements to see if you don't fit something. If you fit all of the requirements, I'd contact the person who denied your application for a further explanation on why you were denied.

Hope this helps.

Sorry to hear you got denied! I am sure you will be able to get accepted next season. Just be sure to fix whatever they said the next time you apply! Best of Luck!

shut up

If you got denied in a day you must've not fit a requirement
I did the requirements before I applied, and I fit all the requirements (From what I could tell). Hamoka got back to me today and said that it was denied due to lack of some details and executed improperly/poorly

Yes, I contacted and got a reply from Hamoka. From what I could tell, I met all of the requirements. My application was a bit rushed tbh and I could've spent more time on it; which is the main reason it got denied.

Hello, sorry to hear you got denied. I had a chance to read your application, and I would like to share my personal opinion about it. First of all, you did a great job writing your application(it shows that you care about this position). You provided a good background about previous experience as a staff, and your achievements. The possible issue why your application denied is "luck of serious approach". In other words, you should consider the application process as a real job application. As much as you want to show that you have a good humor("Got the reference? Okay sorry"), it is necessary to show that you are professional and leave jokes outside of application. In addition to that, you should revise your application at least 4 to 5 times, so you will eliminate grammar mistakes, and provide more details about yourself/experience/etc.

Hope you will apply next time, and pass the application process. No offense if I offended you, but I just wanted to share my personal opinion about your application. Cheers :)

I like the feedback you gave. I tried to show in my application that I can be valuable to the staff team, and that I also can have fun where appropriate as well. Next time I apply I will ensure that the application is strictly professional as I should've done the first time :D tysm
and no, I was not offended in the slightest. Constructive feedback is very much appreciated
