Need some clarification with some survival rules.

Now, before you all get mad at me and tell me this should be in general discussion, this is for a specific SURVIVAL rule. Considering the topic, I would not make a bug report for this, as it is not a bug.

As I have said multiple times before, one of my main goals in this server is to have a farm for everything I possibly can, even in a server with a multitude of mods where it is not meant for one to farm that many things. However, there are multiple farms which require the player to be presently afk, holding down their mouse button. Now, there is a rule about having a weight on your mouse or using the pause on lost focus glitch on skyblock but not on survival. Does anybody know whether it's allowed or not on survival?

if its not allowed on skyblock it probably isn't on survival as the grinding bits are sort of similar

Yea thats what I was thinking I'd just like to know for sure and if it IS allowed I'm going to use it since there are many materials which require it to mass produce

Yeah, it doesn't outright say it in the rules, but use of foreign objects to hold down your mouse is disallowed. This would be essentially the same as using an autoclicker to farm. If you want to be able to farm like this with minimal effort, I recommend holding down your mouse button while you have multiple tabs open, so you can watch netflix or youtube while you farm/mine. That is what I did when I would gobble gen in skyblock.

I'm not exactly sure what ur farming on survival that you'd need to put a weight on ur mouse.

I'm not the sort of person to spend my money very often on resources. The majority of my bal that is spent goes into giving away money and donations. This is another reason why I have farms for relatively cheap stuff. Farms such as snow farms and tree farms require the player to hold down the mouse button.

I mean, snow is actually quite a good building block imo. It's like quartz but seamless and well, whiter. I also really like the bluish tint. Snow costs 125 bal per, and you can craft 4 snowballs into a snow block. Therefore, a snowball would cost 31.25 in /shop. With a good snowball farm, you can generate ~ 140,000 snowballs/hr. Essentially what I'm saying is that I could just use it for like 15-30 mins and generate more snowballs than anyone would ever need then either sell what I don't need for a decent amount of money or just keep it forever and never have to use it again.

or u can go to public farm or public ig profit shop and make like x100 that money in 5 minutes
