Ok, so this topic isn't technically controversial, but I'd just like to clear up some common misconceptions in regards to OG Minecraft IGN's.

First off, what makes an IGN OG?
OG, aka original gangster, is a common phrase used to describe the very first and also extremely rare Minecraft usernames. OG IGN's include single-worded or common/famous pronouns as the entire base of their IGN. Common first names such as Molly, Jeff, etc.

Capitalization is Irrelevant.

What denies an account the title of OG?

Underscores, numbers, compound words, pre-fixes, suffixes.

For example:
The IGN "blue" would be OG while the IGN "unblue123" would not necessarily be considered OG.

Additional Information
Of course there are exceptions in both aspects that determine whether an IGN is OG or not.

A player's IGN does not determine skill level, however OG players tend to have a high skill level in building, pvp, or other Minecraft aspects.

Feel free to discuss in the comments and if I missed anything, please share!
