Party chat or Global chat in hub?

So people have been saying that we need a ranked only chat but i think that a party chat would be better so people dont feel left out and so we can dm multiple people at the same time without flooding other peoples chat. Also being able to talk in hub would be nice too.
 
1. party chat already exists in survival. could possibly exist in the other game modes i’m not sure tho ask around. you either have to start a party or be invited to one.

2. idk if you remember a few months ago when there was like a thousand people on the network and 90% of them were on the hub waiting to get into skeppy’s videos. hub chat would be hell no thanks

yes skeppy event a that was aids there was like 1.5k players in a fricking queue

1. im pretty sure party chat doesnt exist in other gamemodes esp not hub

2. maybe they could turn off global during events or implement a slow mode
 
why would u wanna talk in hub. i mean u go on the server and join 1 of the gamemodes. like kit pvp for example i dont see why u would need to talk in hub when ur going to join a game anyway.

Like when the server crashes or during whitelist
 
well if the server crashes then u can wait till it up again. i mean i cant imagine it taking 100 years to restore the server.
if its whitelisted u have a discord or teamspeak to go in and talk there.

it’d be nice to talk to my friends in a private chat because not all of us are on the same islands

talking in a hub no
party chat on kit seems decent tho but it would kill chat if everyone uses it so idk
