Hey, I am a kit player but I have been wanting to start skyblock recently. I am already at level 52 and have $100k just from opening vote crates. I have already my made a cobble gen + stuff I just don't know what to do next. So I have a couple questions that I want to know the answer to.

1. What is the goal of skyblock? Is it to make a cool island or to level up or something else?

2. What are spawners?

3. What should I do to start out?

1. Nothing really, you can build cool things, host a lot of events, do anything! But the main goal is to get /is top 1 by having the most levels

2. what Jet said, and they also stack

3. Go to profit shops, events. and mine. once you have 60k buy a chicken spawner, then afk it and get more until you have around 30, then try to get better spawners, (IG and ZP)

Welcome to skyblock! There are a lot of directions you can take as stated above. I own /is top #1, I’ve got multiple friends in the top 10, friends that solely create builds, and others that solely host events.
Regardless of what path you want to take, I’m sure you want to at least make a little bit of money. Easiest way to do this is to purchase chicken spawners and grinding the chickens to make money for more spawners and so on. From then you can use the money for zp spawners or gold blocks, or for blocks from the shop to build.
It’s a pretty nice community here, most people are very helpful. If you need anything, let me know, as I’ve switched focus away from is top towards helping out newer players. See you around!

Tysm, I just have one more question, do u get exp by making builds, or doing challenges, or grinding spawners, I am just curious the best ways to gain exp since you already told me how to get money. Also, what are profit shops. Thanks again!
 
So for chicken spawners and stuff, im finding it rly hard to get more since they are like 60k each, does anyone know a shop where they are les?? (New Player)

You get xp by placing ore blocks (example: Gold Blocks, Diamond Blocks) Usually, people only place gold blocks though.

I haven't seen any permanent shops, but sometimes people sell them at cheap prices, but if you can't wait or want to get money fast, you would be better off buying from shop

If by exp you mean enchanting levels, you obtain those by grinding mobs and you can use those to enchant swords, armor, etc. If you mean island levels, then you need to place down valuable blocks like gold and diamond which can either be bought from other players or grinded from zombie pigmen (although it’s difficult to do without the commands that come with skygod).

Getting the first 20-30 chicken spawners is always the hardest because it takes so long for the chickens to spawn and therefore you can’t make money fast. I would recommend being patient and sticking it out, I promise it gets way easier. Also be on the lookout for players in chat who are selling chicken spawners for a discounted price.

tysm lol the community in skyblock seems so much better than the kitpvp community. I will probably get the cheapest rank so i can /fly

Just a forewarning, astro does not come with /fly, legend does. If you just want the command, you can buy it separately but I would strongly recommend legend as it is a pretty solid all-around rank (the majority of the players have legend).

Hey, I have another question. Is there a more efficient way to get dia blocks and stuff rather than just grinding the cobble gen. I have grinded it for like 5 hours today and I got a lot of resources and I got to lvl 1000. I also got 3 chicken spawners so that is cool. I was just wondering if there is an easier way to get ores besides just sitting + mining in a cobble gen. ty

You can get gold from zombie pigmen spawners, and iron from Iron Golem spawners, but for diamonds/redstone and lapis you just have to buy it
