I have recently decided to make this post due to one of my friends getting scammed, I would like to get this rule changed because I think it's extremely unfair and is costing the server money.


So the rules state that "Scamming in-game items/money for promises of ranks/keys/etc. is allowed. " So If billy promises jimmy a rank for ingame items jimmy goes first and gets scammed hes fucked but if billy buys jimmy a rank and jimmy scams its a ban? I think thats a little backwards its costing the server money and I have seen players quit over stuff like this. KIDS PLAY THIS SERVER!!!! so jimmy lets say hes 13 does not have a job and mean parents he spends months trying to get enough gear for a rankupgrade gets scammed because he does not know any better? like thats really fair? its a really unjust rule and it needs to be changed!!!!!!!

this is why you just
make the irl dealer buy you the thing first
then u give the stuff
 
Even if they made scamming ingame items bannable, it would be really hard and take much time for the staff members to resolve those cases. That's why we just have irl go first

True its just better to have this cause the invadedlands staff team isnt the most active team ive seen they woudnt have the time to check thru all of these and people woud have to record everytime they are doing irl deals. This also means that if they have to waist more time on it means skeppy/zelkam must spend more money to give the staff cause they spend more hours wich they woudnt want to use the money or the resources for

i understand that it's frusturating, but it'd create too much of a grey area as to what scamming is. for example, a banner scam on skyblock could just be exused by saying "they were just donating," some players would think things that aren't scams, like overpriced items on /ah are scams, ect. and it'd just be too much of a hassle for staff. + people would report with outdated proof. at the end of the day, its better to get scammed once and learn to watch out for it next time, especially watching out for it in the real world :)

legit it would take 2 seconds if someone records it would take seconds to do

Its costing the server money theres no grey area if it costs server money its a no brainer.
