so i've been banned on InvadedLands and I was xraying (this occurred a while ago) and its a perm ban and it was my first ban also
so was this a mistake and it should've been a 30 day ban or was this the actually consequence I deserve

You can appeal and admit and get it reduced to a 30d ban! Hope that helps!

Basically so how it works, cheating bans are permanent. They have it set this way so if hackers/macro users (I used one because I'm dumb) have a chance to prove themselves to staff that they are a respectful and respectable player for it to not happen again. If you send in a ban appeal with good intent and strong backup, it could get accepted. If you send one with malicious intent, it will very easily get denied. With strict cheating policies, it's harder to enforce this stuff so they have to get you to come here to appeal. If you do feel as if you would like to be a returning loving member of the community such as myself, prove yourself in the appeal. Make yourself stand out, that you want to come back to the wonderful server and community that InvadedLands is. If the appeal is accepted it will be reduced to the cheating ban of 30d. Hope this helps!

You should make an appeal, if your ban was over 30 days they would usually unban you or reduce it.
