Problem when joining server

When I try to join the server it doesn't load correctly and gets me stuck in a block and no buttons are responsive. I have tried restarting my computer and restarting my game session multiple times. Then it eventually times out or says an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. Is it just poor connection?

Yeah, it's most likely poor connection, or the whole server was lagging out due to some reason.

What you want to do is restart your minecraft and delete the server name and put it back and or willl be fixed
