Problems with selling map art

Map art is wonderful. Making it takes a long time, but it's worth it. I have no problem with that. But I do have a problem with how map art is sold.

I had no idea you could copy a map... and with this, many people have been making huge profit off of maps that aren't even theirs. I think the economy would be better off without that ability, but hey, I have no control over it. I think the only people that should make profit are the creators. That's just my opinion.

Small post but really important subject. I hope this can be solved somehow.

you can try to call them out for doing this or make a trademark so the people will find out who was the person who created the map. Or even just plain warn the players that if they pay for the map then it's a scam, but you need to be kinda sneaky with the trademark and warning things, so only the people might find out, not the theives

But can you explain what kind of map did they copy? Imo it's very rude & maybe even illegal to steal someone's work and make profit off of it.

It happens everywhere... but it's a black, white, and red wolf. 2x2. it has my user in the corner.

Unfortunately I don't think it can be solved :/ but I understand the inconvenience.
