when one person has their pvp off, they cannot pvp with each other it's as simple as that..

I think at the beginning of the season there was a glitch where people could still be hit by projectiles (Arrows), so people with flame bows could kill you even if you had pvp off, I think its fixed now tho

it's not fixed, flame bows can still kill people with pvp off, and it's frikin annoying
always use /pvp toggle to turn off pvp when you dont wanna pvp tho, this keeps you safe
