Question about AFKing on my island.

For the past few days, I've been AFKing on my island and it seems to go pretty well. However, I was wondering if I would be allowed to use a keyboard recorder to advertise my island every 30 seconds or so. I realise that this is a third-party program which is why I want to know if it is allowed before I try it. Thanks!
