I have an iPhone 7
It’s no longer charging, and I can’t tell wether it’s the phone or the cable
do any tech nerds know what’s happening?
im kinda afraid that it’s the phone because this is a decently new cable

cable - try connecting your charger back to your phone, wiggle the end of the wire for about 3 minutes and put it at awkward angles

plug thingy - next plug in something that has the ability of showing it can turn on into where your charger is plugged in

phone/actual charger - trying a different charger on your phone

would determine what's the problem after all this

update, its the phone
I tried several cables, none worked
I tried plugging it into different walls, nothing :/
this was a hand me down phone, just a shame it only lasted 4 years
guess I'm gonna need a new one ;-;

not worth it for a phone that sells for less than $200 , repairs usually cost like $50-100
you mean like the switch? yeah its on
it was a joke. anyway if u need like a budget phone i'd say get the iPhone SE (the 2020 edition) costs like $400 and its got the specs of the 11, and its the same exact size as the 7

My phone stopped charging sometimes no matter the cable and it fixed overtime so maybe test in like 3days before going to a repair shop or smth

do not get an Apple phone. With an Android phone you could've gotten new parts (new port, new battery) for like not that much anyway. Plus even a $180 android phone lasts for like 3-4 years

There are other great phones I can find some great ones

TCL 10 Pro for example is a great choice, it may have a slightly worse processor but it has more RAM and storage and more cameras

this has an absolute behemoth of a battery with some good cameras, but the software may take a little to adapt to (you can always mod it).

Doubt your still having issues, but if you are get someone who also has an iPhone to charge there phone on the cable and if it charges then you know its your phone.

Omg if I saw it sonner you probably figured it out and if you didn't it's your phone biscally had the same issue with my phone and what I had to do is give it to a tech guy and he opened up the phone where the charging port is and cleaned it or something there was dust or something blocking from it to charge the after he did they my phone started charging again so if you either bought a new phone or still have your old and here is the solution to fixing it or either you fixed it and the problem was with the cable and not your phone then gg

I ended up buying a new phone, it was super old anyways and I couldn’t figure out the problem. Thanks for the help tho <3
