if i have a rank and want a higher one (example: i have austronaut but i want legend) will it change my rank? or would i have to do a rank upgrade ?

You can buy the full rank package, however, it would be more cost efficient to buy the astro>specialist, then specialist>legend. (you could also /reclaim after each upgrade for bonus items).

You can either buy a rank or a rank upgrade. Buying a rank means you can buy a rank straightaway for a single price, or you can buy different rank upgrades*reccomended* for cheaper
