I know how to code, I've been using smaller things like the scratch website, but it isn't that hard. I'm learning it, and so far its not that difficult.

Imo bad advice. Java isn't "too hard" to learn, it depends on the person. If you're willing to put in the time to learn it and understand it then you can start with anything. If you're a little lazy perhaps a less-complex language would be better.
