Real Auctions in Auction House

I was wondering about this idea of making the Auction House an actual auction.

For example, A player could list a sword and have a minimum price. Other players can bid on the sword, in increments (bids) that increase exponentially(numbers increase quickly) or linearly (numbers increase by a set amount) based on what is easier, with the highest player winning the item. This would allow players in areas like Australia and New Zealand to be able to bid on items sold by Americans, and vice verse.

Also, If a player really wanted something, they could bid a higher amount in the hope that others would not counter the bid.

In regards to how to track funds in the meantime, The money would be withdrawn from the player balance and held in escrow( temporary account) until the item is sold. If a player bids higher on an item, the difference between the new amount and the current amount held in escrow would be withdrawn from the player balance. If a player wanted to withdraw their bid, they can. The funds would be refunded from the escrow to the player, in that case.

Once the item is sold, the funds would be sent to the seller, and the item to the buyer, as is currently done.

From my understanding of coding, which is minimal, I dont see much in the way of complexity. The numbers would just be stored on a txt file, and new items would generate new txt files or have a new section on the current text file. The UI shouldn't be too hard, just imitate the current one used for Auction House currently.

I think this idea would add some fun dynamics to the economy, and make things more interesting. People could see price variation as well with the rises and falls of items being bid on.

What do yall think?

what ur saying is to replace wat the auction house currently is, however the AH is where ppl sell stuff, and auctions wont always give u the full price of the item. so instead, why not just add an auction option to the AH and have a button in the /ah menu to choose which one u want to use. Also make a seprate command to sell on the auction part of AH and set a starting bid.
