Regarding my retirement

Hey there,

Since my last resignation letter left some questions for users, I am here, making a post answering most of the questions I get asked. I am making this so I have a document I can link an all-in-one document if someone asks me a question. If any questions are not answered, please consider those as a 'private' question which I prefer not to answer.

To clarify, this was a permanent resignation. I asked for my rank and permission to be taken away from me permanently, and this decision of leaving a team that I served for almost 2 years was not a decision I easily made.

Why did you resign? (3 Reasons)
  1. I believe that I did everything in the best of my ability to improve the player's experience.
  2. I strongly felt that it is not beneficial for me and the server for me to be in a position to hold so much power for such a long period.
  3. I wanted to take a step further in interaction with the community and staffing, and I wanted to gain experience on other servers as well.

Will you ever come back? Would you return as admin or reapply?
No. I will not be reapplying on InvadedLands in the future. As I've stated, the decision was not something I made in a split second, and it is not something I'd undo. I appreciate the love and support, though!

Why are you active and still help after resigning? You could've just stayed as staff!
You do not need staff rank to help someone in need, whether that's writing a single sentence or a paragraph. Just because I resign, it does not mean I stop helping others.

Can I still ask you for help?
Yes, I'm open on Discord DMs or forums conversation. Discord DMs would be much faster! Please note that asking for assistance from staff will be more accurate as they are more up-dated on informations

Thank you for clearing this up you had disappeared for a while and I wondered where you went. And also me and probably most of the server misses you.

Sorry to be critiquing this thread but like these don’t make sense at all to me.

1. I appreciate that you tried your best but why is this a reason to resign?

2. Isn’t holding power for a longer period of time more beneficial as you’ll continue to be one of those that are experienced in the server and know the ins and outs to the community
3. I love your drive to help others but I honestly think you should just consider your actual life and maybe step down from staffing in general. You have dedicated a lot of your life to staffing in the past 2 years and I’m sure it’s affecting you irl at least a little bit. You should try caring for yourself more than others and maybe even take a break from forums for a week or so as you’re really gaining basically nothing from continuing staffing or spending time on forums replying to threads. It’s volunteering to make a community better but you have to prioritize yourself before others. I spent 1400 hours as a higher up on a CSGO server and maybe you weren’t as a try hard as me when it came to staffing, but it did make me procrastinate. Even though I didn’t procrastinate too much, I still procrastinated when I could’ve had 1400 more hours studying or talking to friends or being with family, etc. I don’t know your life whatsoever and you definitely should do you, but I just want you to make sure to live healthily and happily before dedicating yourself to helping others make a ban appeal and blacklist appeals, etc.

Love you apex

Because there were nothing else I could have done. Keep in mind this isn't the full reason why I resigned.

No it is not; Power in a long period made me lose appreciation for the things I have. Holding power for a long time changes people, and I did not want to be one of those who expect everything to be done their way.

This is a issue I had when I took my first break; Since then I became better at handling my time and balancing time of game and IRL activities.

Alright, thanks for clarifying, I’m sure you know your limits better than anyone and I respect each and every decision you’ve made so far. Keep up all the work and I hope you have a very prosperous life apex. I’ll look forward to seeing your posts around forums and maybe stumble upon you on Hypixel as a helper as I’ve seen some posts saying you’re applying for it. Good luck and take care ❤️

You're kindness will not be dismissed. I hope the community is a place for you to feel at home, as this once was. Thank you for creating a community for us that will continue to push forward.
