Music is so much better, first of all it's so much easier (just drop some notes into a music composition software when you get the inspiration), and it's also so much easier to know when someone's actually copied your music.

I have already talked it over with some of my artist friends, we concluded that it was most likely referenced not traced,now that I watch the video it’s not very clear but they are quite similar

well it's really just the theme of the drawing is similar, doesn't look like tracing and volt would agree with you more if he knew/thought it was traced. I don't think vault would take credit of multiple drawings she did do but only one is not hers, it makes no sense for her to only trace one drawing if she did trace any
