Requesting locks

Okay so basically, I know how many people @ staff requesting locks, I just wanted to know whether staff actually find it helpful or it's just annoying for them.

I think most of them don't mind. Especially if the thread is one that is supposed to be locked. But being overzealous with it is a bad thing imo.

Some staff don't mind I think, since they have 'feel free to @me to lock threads' in their signature.

Yeah it's mainly just when it gets spammed on random threads which don't really need to be locked, it's a waste of time for them and I feel bad about it haha.
