haven’t been a big fan of the skyblock on Hypixel which feels completely dominated by mods though i do have a good feeling about this coming reset on Invaded, excited to see it
 
I typically like the vinnila aspect and i kinda feel like invadeds gonna lose alot more players to hypixel than in the past years. and I might not play as much becuse i like the grind aspect alot

The "vanilla" experience, every season, was good for about 1 or 2 months, then it was just boring every other month.
We needed something to rival against servers like hypixel and skyblocky (F1NN5TER'S skyblock).
Skyblock as a whole has changed, and vanilla skyblock just won't cut it anymore if a server wants to be successful, it needs a USP (unique selling point), something to make it stand out from the crowd.
I'm looking forward to seeing how the server evolves with custom content, and carving out it's own niche.

TL;DR
Invaded needed something to stand out, has delivered, am happy.

To add on to this- the suggestion that Invadedlands will lose players to Hypixel for being modded is a fallacy. Invaded is already like the hundreds of other vanilla skyblock servers out there, whereas mods vary from server to server. Invadedlands keeping the vanilla gamemode would simply make it less niche and more generic, and if you're a minecraft server you don't want generic.
