My friend on got muted for 10 years for cursing and "toxicity". I'm guessing that was his 10th mute so ya. We are both mad about the consequence of his actions and we both think the rules related to communication are extremely strict. There are some rules I think are reasonable. For example, DDoS threats and suicide encouragement. On the other hand, there are some rules I think are enforced too much like cursing and death threats. If I was a staff member and I made the rules, I would allow general cursing and insults like "f*ck you" or "die in a hole". I would allow these words and insults on the regular, unless the people saying them are taking it to an extreme. For example, repeatedly saying horrible and dark threats to someone excessively. In my opinion, that would result in a mute. If you agree with me please comment on this post. And while you are here can you please answer the poll.

Suicide encouragements = Death threats = "die in a hole" = "horrible and dark threats"

You're contradicting yourself and aren't aware of the plain similarities of these words' meaning and real value.

TL;DR, Pointless post.

Ok that's fair. But I still stand my ground. Like I said, most of these insults become problems when they are said excessively. If you are with your irl mates having a good time and throw a random insult, nobody is gonna be mad. It's when you say it everyday and every time you see that person or group.

We're to remain "strict" because it would only encourage players to take it to an excessive degree if we were not. Death threats/suicide encouragement have never and will never be taken lightly because that itself is excessive, you're simply counteracting your own arguments & refusing to see how that would make it an uninviting environment all around
