Run and eat is so dumb. I don't get why u get banned for it to be honest because its just tempting for everyone to use when in a sticky situation or when you're low health. Also people that blacklist/ban evade or people in general that play on nfas/sfas just abuse it and when you use it against them they report you and you're banned. It doesn't make the game fun at all.

Can run and eat just be removed again, it would make everything so much better istg.

I get that you’re trying to explain your frustration but can we not use that word cause its a bit offensive to some people and I think you can get banned for it here
 
If eating and running wasnt bannable, every single fight would last 10+ minutes and it would basically be relying on your armor in the end.
 
when it was removed previously, there were other issues with gapples that people complained more about than running and eating, which is why that was removed and it became punishable to run and eat. your frustration is understandable but i dont think anything else can be done about that issue without resulting in more issues.

there are loads of other servers with a huge player base that removed the run and eat feature and no one complains about it on those servers. So there should be something that can fix this problem to be honest.

nah, if i remember correctly, when the fix for running and eating was added, it resulted in gapples sometimes not working when players tried to eat them (and sometimes theyd die because of it) and there were a bunch of posts complaining about that. maybe theyre not related but when the run and eat fix was removed, there werent any more posts about gapples not working.

i mean im sure a fix is possible but maybe its not something that is easy or capable of being done here? just an assumption though. im sure they tried what they could but regardless, it isnt that big of a deal. if you see someone doing it, report it and move on.

i meant people used to complain about run and eating more than the crapple bug that happend

ah, whoops lol. i mean ive seen a decent amount of people and posts complaining about both but removing the issue with gapples not working sometimes and making running and eating punishable is better than removing running and eating then continuing to have issues with gapples not working, causing players to die and lose items due to something that's server side. im sure people will disagree with this but my original point was that i highly doubt theyll remove running and eating again unless they figure out a way to do that without it causing more issues.
 
@theplainbagel the bug ur talking abt with the gaps not eating sometimes still happens even when run and eat is still in the game lol it doesnt make a difference do your research g

never said it doesnt happen, because im sure it does due to other reasons not related to the run and eat fix (although i still believe the run and eat fix caused a lot of it when it was a thing). not sure what "research" i have to do to make an assumption that the fix for running and eating caused other problems. i never said i knew for sure, i said it was an assumption based off posts that people made complaining about gapples not working when the run and eat fix was added and then not seeing those posts anymore after the fix was removed. anyways im done responding to this thread.

they most likely added eat and run back because of the gap not eating bug but personally i think the devs just too lazy to fix both bugs at once
