my story
(idk the exact date of when i joined but meh)
I was in quarantine and i was VERY bored. At the time i was very into minecraft videos so i decided to buy my own one. I had been very into skeppy videos at the time so i joined his server, InvadedLands.net. I knew skeppy had been doing a lot of trolls in survival so i logged in and made a base hoping skeppy would troll me but, at this time I did not know that skeppy was NOT going to troll me. So i came back the next day and EVERYTHING was gone. I did not know what a reset was because IL was the first Minecraft server on Java i had ever played on(i have been playing PE and Bedrock for 6+ years) so i was so sad that all my stuff was gone. Now when i look back at the story i can estimate when i joined IL and it must have been at the very end of season 2 of IL. I was so mad i moved to KitPvP for ages, for like 2 months! At this time i was very inactive because i was playing on a parents laptop so i was only able to play for 1-2 days a week. I was still watching skeppy hoping someday he would troll me but there was no chance. I quit. About 3 weeks after i joined KitPvP i tried Survival again but this time to make friends and make cool bases and buy ranks. I logged in that day and was invited to a skin competition. There was 3 ppl left and i looked over to my left and saw a player with the name “Budawolf” I msged him asking what’s going on! he messasged back “skin competition“ and then he got picked out. it was me v 1 more guy, and the host could not pick. She put a sign down saying 1. winner 2. lose 3. lose 4.lose, I picked first. and i had no idea what was going on but then Buda told me to say 1 in chat and i won! He asked me do u want to live near my house, and so i did i built a skin competition with the money i won and i started doing my own events making prizes higher and higher.
That worked out well. I have made huge bases and loads of cool friends on Invadedlands and have spent way to much money on a minecraft server. I could not ask for better people to play with and i enjoy every minute of being on Invaded.

this is how i joined invaded
Covid was just announced and school was cancelled, it seemed like a perfect time to try some hypixel skyblock, after a few days, I'd been muted for probably ranting in a bedwars game like I often did. It was near evening, I decided to go to invaded lands survival as I watched a few skeppy videos recently. Took me a few minutes to realise that I was in spawn, and I went in the portal. I spawned in a beautiful plain of flowers at night, I seeked refuge by a nearby mountain and gathered supplies. I got a few furnaces and gathered iron, I soon ran out of food and only found a few rabbits for food. I begged for food in chat and someone named lanne came and gave me a life supply of steak, I was shocked and asked how they got so much steak. They said it was a cow farm, I replied with a "nice", I soon asked if I could live with them, lanne replied with a yes. I was soon teleported to the new biome with my iron and coal, it was a beautiful ice biome with mountains and tall ice spikes. I soon had made a box looking home, not the best, but it worked. Soon after, lanne showed me around their home and also told me that I was free to use the cow farm as much as I wanted to. Then something else had caught my attention, it was a picture, but in minecraft? I started asking what it was, and I was told it was a map art. I'd never seen such a thing before, after that, I started to meet people, build and also learn a lot about this server. I remember making a giant mall with a player named moneystijn, I asked if I could put my banner shop there and help him build, he agreed, and we made idot tower. After a few more days, I found a banner shop, the person was selling pretty well made banners, they seemed good at it. They eventually retired and sold the shop to me, I learned banner making and sold map arts that we're made in the community, sadly I had forgot their name. I went on to build many things and meet many amazing people. I played every day till the server died, the best months I ever had in my life, thank you survival community.
