I made a deal with someone recently where I would trade in game items for a rank, long story short they scammed me. I have evidence of it and I’ve reported them but if I already gave some stuff to them before they were supposed to buy me the rank is there any hope of me getting it back or is it just gone and I’m screwed?

IRL scamming is bannable, but it's only punishable when YOU lose irl money. If not, it is allowed.

It's not stupid imo. You have to be dumb as shit to get scammed in an irl deal. The irl dealer always goes first and if they don't want to then don't do the deal. I've never gotten scammed all you have to do is use your brain. I hope this didn't sound cocky but please just don't go first it's so simple.

Ik I just didn’t look into the rules enough before hand so I just assumed it was bannable if he scammed so there was nothing to worry about. I’m fairly new to invaded but I should’ve known better. Thanks for the help.

according to multiple staff and forum posts, IRL side goes first, if ingame scams, in game gets blacklisted. Easy as that.
yeah but sometimes ingame can go first and irl goes second, you only do that to people who are very trusted
