I think both Duels & Kill Keys should exist in the KIT-PVP server. The "kill Keys" will drop rarely and you would get a Low-Teir item out of the crate's loot table. i honestly think duels should be a thing because, whats a PVP server without duels. maybe a reward is earned from a duel, But i really do think Kill Keys should be a thing in this server because it gives that extra Umph to new players when killing someone.

Why not 1v1?
Quite a few kit pvp servers I've played on have a /duel plugin. Sure, it isn't the most common thing on those types of servers but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be added. Besides, Invaded already tried releasing a practice server and that didn't go very well.

I agree on the duels it's much better than going to an empty pw. It obviously isn't going to be the main feature but just something people can use to 1v1.

you might as well have the option. you can have a custom gui to select the gear that u use out of your pv's and go fight. You would both see the opponents armour and weapons. ALso bow boosting would be allowed. It would be fun to see a 1v1 with bow boosting implemented
I think kill keys would be very op, however I think there should be level keys, so that every level you get a key or some reward to incentivise people to get more kills and progress
Duels would be cool. but idk about the key
