i had a friend who liked to do stuff in my base. he put a sign down on a door, and i cant break it. i dont want it.
you should be able to break stuff like that if its your claim, in which, yes, it is MY claim.

If the sign he put (on the door in your case) is a Private Sign and it is in your claim, you can request a staff to remove it off your claim and they will do it. The admin Rikhard_ did help me lots of times about this regard.

Once a staff member is online while you are on the server ask for their help in chat and they will break the sign!
