Note: This is my
personal opinion about something that I don't like about this server, based on my latest experience.
I believe that staff should review blacklist appeals faster, instead of taking months and sometimes forcing an innocent player to wait eternities for something that he didn't do.
Here are the dates, and procedure of my previous blacklist appeals:
September 5th - 2019 I get permanently blacklisted
September 7th - 2019 I submit my blacklist appeal
February 1st - 2020 My blacklist appeal gets accepted (147 days of wait)
March 28th - 2020 My reduced punishment ends (204 total days of wait)
March 29th - I get false blacklisted
March 29th - I'm about to create a blacklist appeal, but I realize that I'm not able to do so since I have reached the maximum number of blacklist appeals
March 30th - I contact a moderator, and he tells me that it's okay to post a ban appeal instead of a blacklist one, but I have to include this information in my appeal
March 30th - I submit a ban appeal (Informed that it was actually a blacklist one & told them why it was wrong, and the possible reason why they made the mistake
March 31th - The same moderator says that all I have to do is to wait for the managers to review it.
April 14th - Another moderator denies my appeal and tells me to submit a blacklist one (Even though I had informed them that I wasn't able to and they had told me that it was alright)
April 15th - The same moderator apologizes after I tell him once again that I'm not able to submit a blacklist appeal, claiming that he was ignorant about my current situation.
April 15th - That moderator requests from the managers to reset the number of blacklist appeals that I can reach, and tells me to submit one when I'm able.
Today - I still can't submit a blacklist appeal, and I'm afraid that I will now have to wait months again for something that I didn't do, also my case is for real a two-minute job as said before.
This is one thing that I
don't like about this server, it's also something that has also happened to other people I have talked with.
My feedback & suggestions:
-Potentially hire more managers/admins
-Prioritize the blacklist appeals submitted by people that claim they're not guilty (as the guilty people are more likely to anyways receive a reduced punishment), this also makes someone that hasn't done nothing not having to wait months for justice to come
I personally believe that those two parameters can "boost" the blacklisting procedure which is something that players "suffer" from.
