Spawn Eggs: Suggestions?

I have a couple of spawn eggs with this new upgrade but I haven't the foggiest what to do with them on this server.

Any ideas?

they very likely have other uses, but the only one I know is the vanilla one (placing it down will consume the egg and spawn the mob, once).
